Congratulations to our newest alumni!

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff of the Faculty of Education, I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your convocation. Whether you are receiving your undergraduate degree, or your Master‘s or PhD, please know that we are all very proud of you and your achievements.
You may go on to careers in teaching, or counselling; you may become administrators, or you may continue to do research in the field of education. No matter where you go and what you do, you will be always be part of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Education.
Please keep in touch—come back and visit us—let us know what you’re doing, and how you’re doing. Join the Education Alumni Association to keep in contact with your classmates. It’s fast and it’s free: simply go to www.ucalgary.ca/alumni to register; to contact the Education Alumni Association directly email them at edalumni@ucalgary.ca
The Faculty of Education Alumni Association provides a great opportunity for you to keep in touch with former classmates; it allows you to solidify your connections with each other and to mix and mingle with alumni who came before you and those who follow; it provides opportunities to keep abreast of educational opportunities, and to join in at various gatherings; and it allows the Faculty of Education to keep in touch with you and to celebrate your individual and group achievements. In short, an alumni association is your connection to us and our connection to you.
Again, please accept our warmest congratulations on your success!
Best Regards,
Dennis Sumara, Dean
