Applied psychology: Empowering people

Supporting the emotional and social needs of learners of all ages and the mental health and career needs of adolescents and adults

There is a growing need for child and school psychologists, counselling psychologists and specialists in human learning and development to support the emotional and social well-being of children and their families, as well as adults seeking life-long learning opportunities to enhance their personal and professional potential. There is also an urgent need for counselling psychologists to support the mental health and career needs of adolescents and adults of all ages.

The Faculty of Education’s Division of Applied Psychology (APSY) offers innovative and flexible diploma, Masters and Doctoral programs – including Canada’s only Master of School and Applied Child Psychology delivered online. Our on-campus and distance education options give working professionals and graduate students the opportunity to specialize in:

With over 300 students across Canada and internationally, the Faculty of Education’s Division of Applied Psychology is a leader in research and innovative programming.
