Academic VitaeMost of my research and writing are in four areas: Stress and stress control, Counsellor education, career development, and demonstrating the value of counselling services. Research ActivitiesMost of my research has investigated various aspects of stress, health, and wellness, or various topics realted to career development. Currently I am involved in a research group developing and field testing new approaches to demonstrating the value of career services. Professional ActivitiesI am President of the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance I am also an active member of the Canadian Research Working Group for Evidence-Based Practice in Career Development. As president of IAEVG, I have worked with organizations such as UNESCO and the Euro Guidance Council to provide training and inservice to professionals in many countries.
