What is the name (or working title) of your thesis?
No title as of yet
Can you give me a synopsis or brief description of what your thesis is about?
I plan to look at how women use conformity as a form of self improvement.
Do you have a personal relationship to the topic? What gives it personal relevance to you?
I thought of this idea when I went through my transition from being a tomboy to a young woman in junior high and high school.
Who is your thesis supervisor?
Interim Advisor: Dr. Sharon Robertson
What are your career plans after graduation?
To be a motivational speaker and life coach.
What are your hobbies outside of school?
Boating, water sports, hiking, hanging out with buds, working out, and anything fun
What did you like most about the U of C, Faculty of Education, Division of Applied Psychology program?
It allows me to go for my dream job, and has good people
What is one of the best memories of your study so far?
The 'Get your Freud on' party in the Black Lounge and the Den, 4th year of undergrad!
What is one of the highlights of your study so far?
The challenge, and making new friends with similar goals
Why did you choose your area of study or specialization?
I
am interested in helping people achieve their goals and better
themselves. I believe people need to work hard to realize their full
potential, and sometimes they need a little help with the process
How did you choose the U of C program?
I thought a counselling degree would get me in the right direction, and the U of C is in the right place for me.
If not yourself, who would you be?
I wouldn't be anyone but me...I've just gotten started with being me.
If you were to invite any three people for dinner, who would they be?
I haven't met them yet whoever they are.
What is your idea of happiness?
Life, love, and friendship
What is your main fault?
I'm sure there are lots...lol.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?:
Singing (if I wasn't tone deaf), and dancing. It would be cool to be an astronaut.
