Introduction
After working for a number of years as a psychiatric nurse Sharon
completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Winnipeg majoring
in psychology, and her Masters degree and Ph.D. at the University of
Manitoba in clinical psychology. After graduation she worked for 11
years in post-secondary counselling with particular interests in
interpersonal trauma, disordered eating, procrastination,
perfectionism, strategies for academic success, and program evaluation.
She joined the Division of Applied Psychology in 2006. |

Post-secondary counselling concerns, program evaluation, procrastination.
Service
In addition to sitting on a variety of Division, Faculty, and University Committees, Sharon volunteers with the College of Alberta Psychologists as an oral examiner and has been a reviewer for the Canadian Journal of Counselling. She is currently chair of the Canadian Psychological Association's Counselling Section.
