  • Our libguide collection has grown again, with the addition of a guide about Videos for Education. It will help you find educational videos both about teaching and for use in your classrooms. We'd be very interested in feedback about whether these are useful - so please email doucinfo@ucalgary.ca with any comments or suggestions.

    The Doucette Library of Teaching Resources supports the unique needs of undergraduate teacher-preparation students through its collections, circulation and reference services and workshops for BEd classes.

    The collection includes…

    • professional materials about teaching and learning
    • Alberta curriculum documents
    • children's and young adult literature
    • teaching resources in many different formats for use ECS to High School (English and French)
    • theses and dissertations written in the Faculty.

    Personnel from the Faculty of Education Technology Support Unit are available at scheduled hours in the Doucette Library, to consult about technical problems. They can also provide access to a bookable collection of multimedia equipment for use by Faculty of Education Faculty and students. Contact them at educhelp@ucalgary.ca
