Finding Stuff

Assuming that you've comfortable searching the library catalogue - how do you actually find that interesting item on the shelf? Understanding a little about the Dewey Decimal system might help you. Or maybe your challenge comes in understanding how call numbers are organized on the shelves.

What about narrowing your search to a particular type or format of material - perhaps to picture books, or video formats, or kit material? See all the formats we have on the collections page, with advice on how to search for those you want. You might discover formats you never knew we had.
