In GDER, students enrolled in on-campus course-based programs (MEd, Graduate Diploma, and Graduate Certificate) may take any number of online program courses they want. Students enrolled in online programs may take any number of on-campus courses they want. On-campus students do not have to take on-campus courses only; online students do not have to take online courses only. This policy direction was outlined in a June 19, 2006, memo from Dr. Robert Woodrow, Associate Vice-President (Academic).
Tuition fees are attached to each course and on-campus tuition fees are not equivalent to online course fees. Therefore, if a student enrolled in an on-campus program takes an online course, the online fees will apply. These fees do count as part of the total tuition fees paid by a course-based student in their program. Please see the Programs section of this website for detailed fee information.
