CORE 691.48 Blindness and Universal Design

Overview: 

This course intersects the domains of disability studies, curriculum, and educational technology and will inquire into blindness and visual impairment in our culture, assistive technology, and implications for teaching and learning.  Teaching that engages our auditory and kinesthetic senses in addition to visual, promotes the learning of all students, particular for those with learning disabilites.
