This course will examine a range of contemporary theoretical perspectives related to educational leadership and learning and apply these perspectives to a context and culture of the student's choosing (example: postsecondary settings, K-12, workplace settings, Indigenous education). The vehicle for this exploration will be your full participation in an institute offered by the Graduate Division of Educational Research and Division of Applied Psychology in the Faculty of Education, the Centre for Leadership and Learning and Kappa Delta Pi. The institute will include paper presentations based on research addressing a range of educational issues. The main goal of the institute is to facilitate the grounding of educational practice in sound theory and research.
