Overview:
This course centers around the collision between local versus global ways of seeing and living in the world. Can human beings live sustainably on this earth without believing that the particular places where they reside are at the center of the earth? In contrast, though, does a global perspective mean that the world citizen lives nowhere (in no particular place), without, as a consequence, allegiance to particular places?
