Orientation to Online Delivery Tools

In the Graduate Division of Educational Research, online courses are delivered using  two web-based applications: Blackboard and Elluminate Live. Face-to-face courses may also utilize Blackboard. These orientation sessions provide an opportunity for graduate students to learn about the main features of these tools.

6:30pm – 8:00pm MT

The sessions will be delivered online using Elluminate Live audio-conferencing software. We highly recommend that students attend one of the orientations.

Details for joining these events will be sent out via email one week prior to each session.

If you are unable to attend, you can request access to the recorded session the following day by emailing to disthelp@ucalgary.ca.

These sessions are also offered at the start of each term.
