Carmen Henriette Boulter

Biography:
- Carmen
Boulter is on faculty at the University of Calgary in the Graduate
Division of Educational Research in the M.Ed. TESL program. She has
been developing culturally-inclusive technology-enhanced ESL/EFL
curriculum and teaching online since 1999. Carmen"s research examines
ESL/EFL teachers use of multimedia in the classroom in universities
around the world. She has developed several styles of ESL/EFL
instructional websites for students. As well, she has created a series
of online video tutorials to train ESL/EFL teachers to make their own
multimedia curriculum. Carmen has a wealth of experience in
international settings. She has been to 50 different countries and has
lived in Canada, the United States, India, Portugal, Taiwan and Egypt.
In her 4 years of teaching at a university in Taiwan, Carmen worked on
3 International Academic Cooperation Projects funded by the Ministry of
