Become a Teacher

A two-year Bachelor of Education (Master of Teaching), offered by the Division of Teacher Preparation (DTP), to prepare professional teachers for the K-12 school system. In partnership with other faculties, DTP also offers several five-year combined degree programs.

Graduate Studies: Education

The Graduate Division of Educational Research (GDER) offers a variety of graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, Master's (MEd, MA, MSc) and doctoral degrees (PhD, EdD) delivered on campus and online. GDER currently has 10 areas of research specialization including educational leadership, educational technology, second language teaching, higher education administration, K-12 curriculum studies and adult and workplace learning.

Graduate Studies: Applied Psychology

The Division of Applied Psychology offers graduate programs, delivered on campus and online, focusing on counselling psychology and school psychology and leading to M.Ed., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees.

English for Academic Purposes

Programs, seminars and courses related to learning, teaching and research in ESL including the English for Academic Purposes program, and graduate degree, professional development and research opportunities offered through the Graduate Division of Educational Research (GDER).

Second Language Studies

Various second language studies initiatives, including teacher preparation or graduate studies in French and other second languages, offered through the Division of Teacher Preparation (DTP) and Graduate Division of Educational Research (GDER) in partnership with other faculties.

Community Rehabilitation & Disability Studies (CRDS)

Undergraduate and graduate programs, offered on campus and online, through CRDS.
